Certifications & Sustainability Compliance

We support our certified clients by providing the data and documentation required for their audits across a range of certifications, including FSC®, PEFC® and Ecolabel, among others. Alliancell also supports clients who are in the process of obtaining certification by helping them understand and meet the applicable requirements.

In addition, Alliancell integrates EUDR (EU Deforestation Regulation) compliance into our FSC® supply-chain processes through a specialized platform for supply-chain traceability and due diligence. This enables us to support our clients with the data, traceability and documentation required to meet applicable EUDR requirements and integrate these processes into their existing certification and procurement workflows.

How does it work?

Contracts

We negotiate annual contracts with suppliers on behalf of our clients. Contract volumes are based on each client’s production plans, purchasing requirements and demand forecasts, with negotiated discounts applied on a monthly basis.

Thanks to our substantial purchasing portfolio and established supplier relationships, new clients can benefit from competitive purchasing conditions and significant savings opportunities. Additional cost reductions can be achieved through optimized logistics and improved working-capital management.

In addition to contracted volumes, our access to a broad supplier network enables us to identify spot-market opportunities and special deals when they arise.

Commissions & Trading

Alliancell operates on a transparent commission-based model. Our commission is aligned with the level of resources and services required to manage each client’s purchasing and supply-chain activities.

When attractive market opportunities arise, Alliancell can also trade and secure additional volumes outside the regular contracted supply. This provides our clients with access to additional purchasing opportunities and greater flexibility.

To support these trading activities and manage the associated commercial risks, Alliancell has secured dedicated credit insurance coverage.

Suppliers

We work with a large and diversified pool of suppliers, with our main supplier base located across Scandinavia, Europe and South America.
